SHEAR TYPE SHREDDER
American Pulverizer Company Shear Type Shredders are ruggedly designed for tough, compressible materials including mixed waste, tires, pallets, batteries, metals and more.
All units are furnished with rib-reinforced housings. Abutted surfaces are precision machined on CNC equipment to maintain shaft alignment as well as gearbox to mainframe alignment.
This precision machining also guarantees a tighter cutter stack arrangement. The clearance between cutters and spacers is variable depending on the product being shredded.
Cleaning fingers can be removed without removal of the cutters and spacers. We stock a variety of spare parts for all American Pulverizer equipment.
The machines can be driven via hydraulic or electric motors. Reduction ratios up to 10:1 have been achieved.
Slow speed keeps vibrations down, along with noise and dust.
Portable and stationary machines are available.
